We all have stories to tell: stories of our pasts, stories of our futures, stories we have lived, wish we had lived, or wish we hadn't.
I tell my stories through art and through craft. Sometimes those stories take the form of quilts that are meant to wrap someone in soft warmth; other times, they take the form of wall art that can inspire contemplation, connection, or understanding.
My most private stories I save for my journals. My hopes and dreams, fears and doubts, joy and despair, all make their way from my heart and head, through my hand, and onto paper.
For me, writing in a beautiful journal is pure pleasure,. I hope to inspire others to take pleasure in journal writing by creating journals that are lovely, inspirational, and interactive. My favorite journals contain tags and other "surprises" (mini-books, blank stationary in envelopes, etc.) that can help make writing in them a joy.
